Katherine is a Sacramento California native and the oldest of three.
She was raised by a public school teacher turned administrator who taught Drama, Choir, and English. It is no wonder her passions lie within the performing arts. As a kid she could be found running around sets, hanging out in the prop shop, and singing with her mothers high school choir students.
When she was in her early teens, she spent her winters dancing in Capitol Ballet's Nutcracker and spent her summers going to Music Circus and participating in their Music Theatre summer camps where she was able to play and sing to her hearts content.

Even with her passion for singing, Katherine's first love was ballet. She originally wanted to be a ballerina and just "sing on the side." Even though Katherine's mother had raised her around the theatre and took her to see Broadway tours, it never really occurred to her that she could combine her two passions into one amazing dream until her family went to see The Phantom of the Opera, and she saw both classical ballet and beautiful singing happening at the same time. That moment changed it all.
Like a number of theatre kids, once in high school she dove into theatre and choir, participating in every production she possibly could.
After graduating high school, Katherine moved down to Southern California for school. While living there she had the opportunity to participate in a few productions, including Fiddler on the Roof, The Producers, Oklahoma!, and The Little Mermaid. Like many actors, she also held many odd jobs and even worked at The Happiest Place on Earth.

After years of waiting to go to New York, Katherine finally decided to move out to there by herself for a year of grand adventures. While living there, she discovered she wanted to share her love and passion of the arts with kids who may not have access to arts programs in their schools.
So, she decided that she needed to finish her degree at UC Irvine.

Now back in California, and with a BA in Drama Katherine is looking forward to theatres opening again and moving (once again) back to New York. In the mean time she has been testing out self tapes and the zoom life, patiently waiting.
